Kevin Carroll approached me about the package design for his 2014 release, allowing for a ton of visual exploration, seeded by a recent photoshoot. We settled an a design anchored by his 14 year old dog. Kevin is also an educator, so I extended the wood slats of the structure to resemble lined paper. The cut-out type style evokes the playfulness of the album.
The type style and color treatment was extended to promotional material. "Uke On" was an expression commonly expressed by Kevin's mentor.
