To help support Black Lives and contribute funding to support a cause aimed at ending police brutality, I decided to create an alternative movie poster for one of my favorite films, and one that is as important today as it was 31 years ago: Do the
I am making 50 prints —each is hand stamped with hand-drawn elements, making every print unique and spontaneous.
They are 16” x 20” for easy framing. Each print is $100 , including shipping & handling (US domestic).
The design includes references to several of my favorite elements in the film, including Buggin’ Out’s scuffed J’s, Smiley’s evangelistic love for MLK and Malcolm X, and Radio Raheem’s passionate Love/Hate monologue.
All profits will be donated directly to Campaign Zero , an organization dedicated to stopping the systemic murder of Black Americans at the hand of police.
